Welcome to our website. Actually, it’s your website. Especially if you’ve been somewhere in Scotland and the folk you met went the extra mile for you.
We’re looking for places which you think deserve a mention for special service. It might be a visitor attraction, shop, accommodation: in fact, any kind of service-giver anywhere in Scotland. If you think a service or facility exceeded your expectations then let everyone know about it.
We’ve already published more than 200 great comments from all of you out there about people and places all over Scotland and we have even recorded a few of our own experiences – but we want to hear from you. So make sure you send us a sentence or two.

What exactly is Extra Mile Scotland?
Scotland has plenty of training schemes for those within the tourism industry. And there are lots of good places with lots of qualifications and awards. You’ll also meet plenty of people who are proud of both their country and their business. Taken altogether, there should be instances where it all comes together and you, the end user, are highly pleased by the experience. That’s what we want to hear about!
So let us know now who should be in. Remember, we’re not just looking for five-star places, but specific examples from any kind of venue where you’ve left feeling good about your treatment, for whatever reason.
