“We booked a cottage on the Cowal Peninsula, and arrived to find a box of home-made flapjacks on the table and a bottle of white wine in the fridge. Actually the cottage is very good and I'd recommend it to anyone. There was a view out of the large window so visitors could watch the many birds feeding on the 'patio' (with books provided for identification)”
