“Staying in a castle, you expect to pay for it and you expect a certain level of service. However, the service there is the best I have ever had the pleasure to experience - all the little extra things, that don't cost a lot, but make it extra-special. On our anniversary, we were greeted with a table strewn with heart-shaped beads and red wine in a heart-shaped bottle. Any time you fancied a nibble throughout your stay, it was on-hand, be it crisps, chocs or fruit. A choice of music was provided for evenings in the drawing room - together with bite-size cakes and other nibbles! The personal attention received was first class too. A perfect stay.”
